Deze ochtend werd de Wereldbeker mennen afgetrapt in Lyon. In de eerste etappe van het werelbekercircuit reed Boyd Exell naar de winst. Twee vierspan combinaties wisten geheel foutloos te blijven! Alle zes de vierspanners reden de drive-off.
