Na het teamgoud op de Asian Games weet Saoedi Arabië nu ook individueel goud te bemachtigen. Ramzy Al Dumai en zijn Belgisch paard Bayard de la Villa Theresia (v. Kashmir vh Schuttershof) wist deze gouden plaat te bemachtigen. Khaled Al Eid won brons met Presley Boy
