King Edward leverde afgelopen weekend zijn ruiter, Henrik von Eckermann ruim 400.000 euro in winstsommen en de titel; FEI Wereldbekerwinnaar. De Belgisch gefokte ruin is het toonbeeld dat de band tussen paard en ruiter exceptioneel is. "Mocht King Edward bij ons gebleven zijn, bleef hij zijn hele leven onder de radar," vertelt fokker Wim Impens! "Mijn fokkerijkeuze? Die baseer ik op mijn hobby, de eventing!"
